OBBA’S FOODBAR MARKTHAL
The Markthal and Obba’s Foodbar opened up in 2014 and is inspired by other Marketplaces like in Barcelona, Valencia or Kopenhagen.
The Markthal houses 96 fresh units, 20 shops and restaurants, 228 appartements and over 1200 parking spaces. Rotterdam is enriched by this building and the Markthal is allready an icon for the city.
The Markthal is also known as the Sistine Chapel of Rotterdam.
Obba’s Foodbar is a cosy open Mediterranean bar-restaurant in the middel of the Markthal with delicious food. Their famous dish is the “Mezze de Luxe”. This is a big two layer platter with a variety of Mediterranen but als Dutch dishes.
What would a bar be without drinks? So Obba’s Foodbar serves different kind of beers, but also cocktails.
